“This tour provides a good way to travel from Palenque onward to Tikal, visiting two fabulous Maya sites along the way. The travel in Mexico was first-rate, although the cabin in the Lancandon jungle was quite basic. Private bath, but no hot water. And the stay there was not a culturally interesting one. It was just a room for the night. Once across the border, transportation is by colectivo, and it's a bumpy and slow 5 hours to Flores. But still, if I had to choose again, I would definitely take this tour.”

“Easy way to do the W trek as everything is organised for you.

If doing camping, sleeping bags and matts are provided though this isn't communicated anywhere.
The trek itself is amazing. Hiking Poles are recommended
Views are incredible and worth the hard work.”
