We will also be able to visit one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet - the Lake Namtso, which has an altitude of 4718m. Its stunning beauty is surrounded by magnificent views of the Nyenchen Thanglha snow-capped mountain range, a home to the Tibetan nomads that live in harmony with their animals and their natural environment. Namtso Lake is one of the "Three Great" Holy Lakes, together with Yamdrok Lake and Lake Manasarovar.
This tour include all admission fees, Tibet travel permits, professional guide, all meals per the itinerary, accommodation at the 4 star Lhasa Yak hotel during the days in Lhasa city (or similar if not available) and Namtso Guesthouse when visiting Lake Namtso. All transferred required are also included.

Your guide will meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa. After check-in, you can enjoy some rest. The remaining of the day is free for you to explore Lhasa City at your own time and pace. Overnight stay will be at Lhasa Yak Hotel.
After breakfast you will first visit the Potala Palace - the winter palace of Dalai Lama. It has been used since the 7th century kings of Tibet. The most valuable collection consists of the gilded burial stupas of past Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave.
We also explore the Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century, with the aim to promote the Buddhist religion. Around the temple winds Barkor street where you can do kora (strolling along the Barkor street) with pilgrims and locals and buy the souvenirs. Overnight stay will be at Lhasa Yak Hotel.
After breakfast you will visit Drepung monastery which was one of the “three great” Gelug monasteries of Tibet and was founded in 1416 by Jamyang Choge. Ganden palace was used as Dalai Lama’s palace in Drepung before moving to Potala palace.
During the afternoon we will explore Sera Monastery, which was also one of the “three great” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, and was founded in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey, one of the Tsongkhapa’s main disciples. Overnight stay will be at Lhasa Yak Hotel.
Today we will visit Lake Namtso, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet - located at an altitude of 4718m. Its stunning beauty is surrounded by magnificent views of the Nyenchen Thanglha snow-capped mountain range, a home to the Tibetan nomads that live in harmony with their animals and their natural environment. Namtso Lake is one of the "Three Great" Holy Lakes, together with Yamdrok Lake and Lake Manasarovar.way, you can see Nyenchen Thanglha (snow mountain ranges) and lots of nomads with yak and sheep grazing nearby.
Overnight you will stay at Namtso Guestroom.
After breakfast you will enjoy morning at the lake shore and you can trek along to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves. You will then drive to Dumxung to have lunch. In the afternoon, you may enjoy Yangpachen hot spring (optional) and both indoor and outdoor swimming pool filled with hot spring´s water. You will then head back to Lhasa, where you will stay at Lhasa Yak Hotel.
Your guide will transfer you to the airport or train station and help you get on board.
