You’ve done a great job!

“We recently had a 15-day trip that included Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos. This travel specialist did an excellent job in planning this trip. We were taken care of throughout our journey, and the guides provided excellent service. It was easy to find the drivers at the airports because were received a picture of the signboard with our names before the trip. It was a very smart decision. The hotels they booked for us were very comfortable with nice breakfasts. All guides helped us a lot during our journey. However, the local guide in Laos was not very good at English, it was a bit hard to understand, but he was the nicest. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with them.”

“I had one of the best times of my life! The activities we did were perfect and really well organised! Lenoy was absolutely brilliant - he was a friend to all of us and made us feel at home in Laos! He was always on hand for any questions and always up for fun! He made the group, especially myself being a young female solo traveller feel very safe and I cannot thank him enough!”
One of a lifetime experience

“The tour operator promised a ‘one of a lifetime experience’ and I received it! Laos was an eye opener with our guide, Lenoy, teaching us ancient and modern history of Laos along with current day traditions, morals/values and daily life of the locals. I bonded well with Lenoy and the entire group, making friends for life (we already have plans to visit each other!) and memories that I will never forget. I enjoyed every activity whether it be kayaking or strolling through a local night market and was always satisfied with my day. This made coming back to the accommodation and having a good nights sleep easy, despite some hotels being a little on the cheaper side. Overall, I had an incredible experience and would recommend the operator to anyone considering a tour group!”

Travel Tips

  • Fast and reliable internet can be hard to come by in Laos. To be on the safe side, print your hotel and transport confirmations ahead of time, and carry a physical map.
  • While many Asian countries encourage you to eat with your hands, this is not the case in Laos. Use chopsticks if you can.
  • When eating out, be careful of “happy pizzas” or “happy shakes”. These foods are “happy” because they are laced with drugs, normally mushrooms or opium.
  • Even on hot days, be sure to bring something to cover your shoulders and knees for visiting monasteries and other holy sites.
  • Laotians really value politeness. Be a respectful tourist. Don’t take pictures of locals without asking (especially monks), avoid pointing, and always take your shoes off before entering a temple or someone’s home.
  • Things run a bit slower in Laos - that goes for the people, the service, and the public transportation. Kick back, relax, and count time as the locals do.
