CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Bolivia: Amazon Jungle Short Break tour. You can cancel the tour up to 24 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 23 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 02 June 2021, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 02 June 2021, a deposit of 400 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 23 days before trip departure.

  • This Short Break Adventure is a ‘join in’ group departure, which means you are not accompanied by an Intrepid group leader – our local representative fills this role – and the configuration of any fellow travellers in the group might change during the trip.

  • The rainforest can be extremely humid during the day and very cold at night. It’s important to pack a range of clothing for all types of weather, including waterproof clothing.
  • Mosquitos are widespread in the Amazon, so please bring tropical-strength insect repellent and clothes to cover your arms and legs. A mosquito net will be provided at your accommodation.
  • The terrain of the rainforest trails can be unpredictable and boggy. Please bring appropriate footwear and thick hiking socks.
  • Some activities take place on the water, such as inner tubing down the Tuchi River, but life jackets are always provided.
  • This trip visits places that are at high altitude, and as a result some people can suffer from altitude sickness, regardless of age or physical health. Please see the ‘Medical and health information’ section of the Essential Trip Information for more important details about altitude sickness.
