Start in Kuching and end in Sepilok, the "Borneo Adventure" tour is a guided trekking and hiking trip that takes 14 days. You will travel through Kota Kinabalu, Nanga Sumpa, Mawang Camp and 5 other destinations in Malaysia. "Borneo Adventure" is a small group tour which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

A real Borneo adventure. Trek rainforest and jungle trails in search of wildlife such as Orangutan, ascend limestone pinnacles and climb Mt Kinabalu. This journey is a naturalists dream. There are literally thousands of plants, hundreds of birds and a wide variety of wildlife including Proboscis monkeys, Macaques and the famous Orangutan. There are also opportunities to learn about the indigenous culture. We trek through virgin rain forest and jungle trails, explore one of the world's largest cave systems in Mulu National Park and ascend the razor sharp limestone pinnacles. Our adventure continues in Sabah, where we ascend high above the jungle canopy to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4093m) before before concluding our journey in Kota Kinabalu.

CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Borneo Adventure tour. You can cancel the tour up to 72 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 71 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 29 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 29 June 2024, a deposit of 311 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 71 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Borneo Adventure tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. World Nomads offers travel insurance for independent travelers and intrepid families.

Visa

For this Borneo Adventure tour getting the required visa(s) is the responsibility for each individual traveller, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend to check with your local embassies representing the countries that you are traveling to, as part of this itinerary.

For Solo Travelers

A twin share room may not always be available for solo travelers as it depends on the final number of people on the tour. If you have picked twin share room while booking, and that option is not available, we will get back to you after booking. A single room might then be available against an additional fee.
