“This was our first trip with a group of people on a bus trip, and also the first with Exodus, and my husband and I had a really great holiday. The trip had a perfect mix of city sightseeing, picturesque UNESCO world heritage sites and a trip into the Tatra mountain range, with a hike down.  ”

“We all met up in Prague, a lovely city, and very soon (too soon!) found ourselves in Bratislava. Supposed to be the smallest of the capital cities that we saw, Bratislava was never-the-less surprisingly nice. We then moved on to the Fairy-Tale town of Cesky-Krumlov....Ahhhhh! Then we got to Vienna and first sailed down the Danube before listening to "Sailing Down The Beautiful Danube" by Strauss as the finale at an evening concert (optional extra). Then there was the spectacular Schonbrunn Palace (optional extra) Rapidly moving on to Buda-Pest we found the Danube again. Our time in this lovely city seemed to be too short! We then moved into Slovakia again but this time to the striking Tatra Mountains with mountain railways, funicular railways, treks and even a waterfall. Our final city was Krakow, Poland. What a nice city! I was glad that I had booked an extra two nights in this lovely city.”

“Monika and Stefano were great hosts and ensured a fun experience. After shopping at the local market, they provided a relaxing atmosphere in their apartment for our day of cooking. They were very generous with food and drinks offered before and during the event. I enjoyed talking with them about their culture and their travels as well. The pierogi making was very fun and even better to eat. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Krakow.”

“Having visiting Krakow a few years ago, we chose this trip to explore more of Poland. The itinerary is busy with some long travel days, but all run efficiently. We visited museums, Old Towns, Palaces, a Salt Mine and Auschwitz, learned about Poland's history, sampled local cuisine and mingled among Polish tourists in the resort town of Zakopane while enjoying the views of the Tatra Mountains. We enjoyed our free time in Krakow to explore the Old Town. The location of the hotels in Gdansk, Wroclaw and Krakow is far from each city's Old Town(20-35 min walk). As this was a new itinerary for 2017, hopefully, the Exodus Team will reevaluate the hotel locations and choose hotels closer to each city's Old Town. Although dinners were not included, our guide recommended restaurants each night, reserved table for group and joined us for dinner. Some chose to eat elsewhere but we enjoyed each of these restaurants, usually just having a starter for dinner as lunches were big. We had a chance to try a lot of different foods even just eating starters or soups. We appreciated having Jerzy joined us for dinners. Often on tours, guide doesn't join group for dinner if it isn't an 'included' dinner. Overall an efficient tour around Poland.”
