Chris set out to turn his passion for wildlife into a career and has spent the past 20 years working in the African bush progressing from animal tracker to guide, and now professional trainer and private safari guide. Chris’ in-depth knowledge of—and uncanny ability to spot—Africa’s flora and fauna; warm and inviting personality, and genuine appreciation for Africa’s beauty and people are as captivating as the Continent itself, and will leave guests yearning to experience its magic time and again. Chris has inspired and delighted guests on safaris in Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

“This was a full and energetic holiday as we travelled across the Cape. We saw a wide variety of wildlife, wonderful scenery and, thanks to our guide and driver, learned so much about S.A. society and the places we travelled through. The walking was at the level of the grade, over the two weeks we climbed nearly 5000m, over terrain that varied from sand dunes to high mountains. We stayed at a variety of accommodation, some of it quite unique and lovely, such as the de Hoop nature reserve.”

4 - Very Good
Review for another Exodus Travels tour
“Very good in spite of unseasonable weather for September. High winds cancelled ferries for several days. As a consequence we stayed only one night on Paros and missed Santorini entirely. But we got to know Naxos very well, and it is an island with plenty to do. it might have been frustrating, but leader Cecile Deltreil made superhuman efforts to keep us well occupied. Although we saw her frequently glued to her cell phone, she never seemed stressed out and explained changing arrangements in a way that kept us calm and happy. She was also an excellent guide on walks and in the towns we visited. If Cecile is typical of Exodus quality of service, it is an excellent company. In general accommodation was good and food excellent. Cecile has friendly relations with lots of good restaurants.I would certainly recommend this trip, and will be investigating other Exodus trips in future.”
