Start and end in Kathmandu, the trip "Ultimate Annapurna Dhaulagiri In Comfort" is a guided trekking trip that takes 16 days. You will travel through Pokhara, Khopra, Dhampus and 10 other destinations in Nepal. "Ultimate Annapurna Dhaulagiri In Comfort" is a small group trip which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

A remote trek into the heart of the Annapurnas. This popular circuit trek in the Annapurna region offers incomparable views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Our carefully researched itinerary is impressive, as within a few days we gain a sense of serenity as we gradually ascend through small settlements and dense forests to the alpine heights of Kopra Ridge. The views from Kopra are incredible, with the colossal ramparts of Dhaulagiri plunging to the misty depths of the Kali Gandaki - the deepest gorge in the world. A further highlight are the high pastures above Kopra Ridge beneath the awesome Fang Face of Annapurna 1, where ancient pilgrim trails lead to the sacred waters of Khayer Lake. Another highlight is our lodge adjacent to Poon Hill. Rather than rise before the sun to make the hike to this famous viewpoint, we sleep soundly in our lodge to awake in the morning to views even more outstanding than those from Poon Hill, without the crowds. Our route really does offer a broad experience of the Annapurnas today, as we pass through small yet prosperous villages, traverse grassy ridges, pass through old growth Rhododendron forests and camp underneath some of the most awe-inspiring mountain scenery on earth.

“The entire team who supported this trek were magnificent. The food was outstanding - tasty, delicious and very varied - a remarkable achievement given the environment. Juddha, Ganga, Perna and our cook ensured with their infectious enthusiasm and joy of life that every day was a memorable one. Their levels of service and commitment to our group was unbelievable. They are a remarkable team of individuals - led by Juddha. He himself is a very special man. His leadership skills are right out of the top draw. As someone who has coached leaders over the last 30 years, Juddha is an outstanding example of everything that a great leader should be: clear , authoritative, inclusive, caring, fun, inspiring, humble. engaging, optimistic, supportive. He is a wonderful man with great values. You are very lucky to have him and its a tribute to your company that you have such a person who is so proud of working for you.”

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about this tour.
  • How much money do I need to bring with me?

Your personal budget obviously depends on your spending habits and what is included in your trip cost. If accommodation is included, but meals are not, we would suggest that you bring around 30 USD per day per person for meals. Having a hot shower or charging your device sometimes costs extra. There are also sometimes small crafts/souvenirs to buy along the trekking route which you may want to bring extra money for. Also, consider whether you would be staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara before or after your trek.

  • Is quarantine in Nepal in effect for arriving visitors?

In response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. Please check the government travel pages and advisories of your home country and the official website of the Nepal Tourism board here.

  • What happens if someone gets altitude sickness, does the rest of the group continue on?

It depends on the situation. Sometimes, altitude sickness can be treated and the trekker may wish to continue. If not, the rest of the group can continue on if they want and the sick person can descend.

  • How does it work with a porter?

Generally, the porter will pick up the baggage in the morning and drop it at the hotel in the evening. You will not always be walking with your porter or have access to your bag during the day, while trekking.

  • Is a visa on arrival available?

Typically, yes. However, in response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. It may be necessary to obtain a tourist visa in your own country before travel. For updated information on visas, please check the Nepal Tourism Board and the Government of Nepal Immigration websites.
