Chitwan Rastriya Nikunja presently known as Chitwan National Park which was established in 1979 is well known for its wide range of flora and fauna. Most activities in Chitwan national park and Bardia national park revolve around wildlife and bird spotting. Besides observing wildlife and bird watching there are other fun activities that you can enjoy such as Canoe riding, cycling through villages, watching Tharu cultural programs, and many more. Bardiya National park is mostly known for its plain land and the exclusive animals which have made Bardiya their sanctuary. Some of the big cats which are hard to find in other places are found there. The Royal Bengal tiger is one of the exclusive animals that are found in Bardiya National park.
