Mera Peak is situated at the edge of the Khumbu Region, south-east of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Mera Peak is the highest peak that has been allowed for climbing in Nepal which do not require any specialised climbing experience or skills. The slopes rarely surpass 30 degrees and the mountain does not require any technical skills. People without previous mountaineering experience can therefore attempt this climb, in a safe environment.
Mera peak climbing is a well-known peak among trekkers due to its easy structure and provision of extraordinary mountain scenery once atop the mountain at 6400 meter.
Enroute to Mera peak we will pass through the great valley of Hinku. Hinku Valley has a beautiful which is situated below Mera peak.
Mera Peak can be completed within a day from the base camp but we do the summit a bit slower to make it 100% safe and so as to have time for any adjustments which we find our necessary to make.
During this trip enough time is allocated for rest and proper acclimatisation. It is a fully supported camping expedition where a cook and kitchen staff will serve fresh and hygienic food. The highlight of this trip is reaching the summit of Mera Peak which provides great views of Mount Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse and finally Mt. Cho Oyu.
