Piece of Paradise
“Everest is such a wonderful place to be in. Trekking in this region was a dream to me and I turned that dream into reality. Walking throught the villages and small sherpa settlements made me feel so blessed. With himalayan scenery, the trekk was much smother. The sherpa was so friendly and welcomed me by all their hearts. The guide also helped me alot to achieve the dream of being in the foot hill of the mighty everest. This trek has been a experience that will remain for my life.”

Amazing journey
“We did the EBC trek in May 2019 and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. This wouldn't have been possible without our guide Naryan and porters, Naresh and Madan. Naryan has a wealth of information about the Himalayas that he shared with us making the trek really interesting. He's also very attentive and monitored our heart rate and oxygen levels daily to ensure we're all healthy. Naresh and Madan helped carry our bags during the trek with a smile and managed to beat us to the destinations everyday.

I'd definitely recommended doing the Everest Base Camp trek and if you do, go with this company and ask for Naryan to be your guide.”

Fabulous Everest base camp Treking
“Such an amazing experience. Made more enjoyable with our genuinely friendly and knowledgeable guide Narayan. This extends to Govinda our Sherpa both always there for great conversations and encouragement. We were looked after like friend's. Each day was explained and we had our oxygen and hearts checked every night of each stage. The tea houses were very accommodating and food a plenty. We certainly will return for other expeditions with HS. And hope to catch up again next year”

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about this tour.
  • Is a visa on arrival available?

Typically, yes. However, in response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. It may be necessary to obtain a tourist visa in your own country before travel. For updated information on visas, please check the Nepal Tourism Board and the Government of Nepal Immigration websites.

  • What is the weather going to be like when I travel to Everest Base Camp?

The weather in Nepal varies by season. For example, November to January is the dry season with sunny days, clear skies and usually no rain. However, on Everest Base Camp, the temperatures at this altitude will be cold, particularly at night. February to May and September to October is the most popular time to travel to EBC, with usually fairly dry and stable weather, although there may be the occasional shower. June to August is monsoon season in Nepal, but once you pass 3,000 meters altitude there is less and less rain. Check out our guide on the best time to visit Nepal for more on specific monthly climate and seasons.

  • How much money do I need to bring with me?

Your personal budget obviously depends on your spending habits and what is included in your trip cost. If accommodation is included, but meals are not, we would suggest that you bring around 30 USD per day per person for meals. Having a hot shower or charging your device sometimes costs extra. There are also sometimes small crafts/souvenirs to buy along the trekking route which you may want to bring extra money for. Also, consider whether you would be staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara before or after your trek.

  • Is quarantine in Nepal in effect for arriving visitors?

In response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. Please check the government travel pages and advisories of your home country and the official website of the Nepal Tourism board here.

  • How long is the trek to Everest Base Camp?

The Everest Base Camp trek is an 129km round trip that starts from and ends in Lukla, where most people fly in from Kathmandu. It takes most travelers between eleven and 14 days to complete this journey, with the average duration being 12 days, of which it takes around eight days to trek from Lukla to the base camp. The return journey, which normally takes four days, is downhill.

You will also need to add at least two days in Kathmandu both before and after the trip, which means that your entire trip duration will be between 15 to 17 days.
