Kathmandu rim is the perfect mountain biking experience for those adventurers with a short time frame and low budget. Mountain biking around Kathmandu valley gives great landscape views of the valley and mountains while allowing the cyclist to explore the cultural highlights as well.

The biking trail passes on the graveled road of Shivapuri National Park and other hills surrounding the valley. It passes through Chisapani, a village of mixed cultures including Tamang, Sherpa and Magar ethnic groups. See the sunrise views of the great Himalayan range. The trail also goes to Nagarkot, a famous tourist destination for sunrise and sunset views. In between Chisapani and Nagarkot, we will ride on a single track and feel the excitement of riding through nature and seeing wildlife. At the end of our tour, we will visit the ancient Chyangu Narayan temple, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

JARED's review for another Mount Adventure Holidays tour
“The trek put together for my visit to Upper Mustang was the best experience I had in Nepal. While traveling alone, I was able to customize trip exactly to my liking. The guide had so much knowledge of the culture and has become a good friend I'll keep in touch with in future years. All my travel to Bardia National Park was coordinated through Mount 8850 as well which was a great experience. When I return to Nepal in future I'll definitely coordinate all travel through them again.”

Ollie's review for another Mount Adventure Holidays tour
“The Everest Base Camp trek is an incredible way to spend 9-14 days experiencing the delights of the Himalaya mountain region, with the ultimate reward of reaching the base camp of the world's most notorious mountain climb. I couldn't recommend Mount Adventure Holidays & Pasang who runs the company any more highly. He took such great care of me as a solo traveller, answering all my questions very promptly before the trip, and organising every last detail from the moment I touched down in Kathmandu, to when I left. Nepal can be a slightly chaotic place to travel around, and for me I had flights to and from Lukla cancelled (due to a "broken plane"), however with Pasang around, he made all the necessary arrangements such that I still made it to do the trek in the time I had! He ensured I had all the necessary trekking gear, lending me a few bits I didn't have. At the end of the trek he gave me a quick tour of Kathmandu and even invited me into his home. As a side point, Pasang uses guides based in Lukla or the surrounding region, so unlike other companies the price of flying a guide from Kathmandu to Lukla isn't included in the price. He is absolutely priceless, so if you are thinking of doing any trekking in Nepal, use him!”

Margot's review for another Mount Adventure Holidays tour
“I traveled to Nepal to hike the Langtang trail with fellow company members from Vindur Hao this March. We arrived late to the airport by three hours due to a flight delay, yet our patient Mount Adventure Holidays guides had waited for our team and welcomed us with smiling faces. We were taken to our hotel accommodations in Kathmandu and began our Langtang trek the following morning. Our knowledgable guides; Pemba and Pasang were kind, patient and well prepared. They frequently monitored our well being and safety as we climbed to the top and as we made the trek back down the mountain. I would highly recommend booking a trek with Mount Adventure Holidays and be sure to request Pasang and Pemba as guides! They made my experience memorable and I know we will stay in touch as they taught my team all about Nepal, local traditions and more!”
