Everest Base Camp trek is world-class trekking journey into the high Himalayas that takes you to the base camp of the highest peak on Earth, the nearest place where a trekker can reach without any technical climb. Everest base camp is a natural paradise of unparalleled Himalayan beauty that people can find nowhere in the world. The Base camp is used for Everest climbers on the way up to attempt the summit however the place now has become a dream land of thousands of people from the globe to be and see once in lifetime which had carried a long history for the view of spectacular legendary Khumbu Icefall and a thrilling feeling like nothing else in the Himalaya. Everest Base camp is a memorable location of past tragedy and glory. Since Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay made the first successful summit of Everest in 1953 A.D., the Everest base camp became the brand and dream adventure journey of thousands of people throughout the planet.

We begin our Journey to the base camp with an exciting short morning flight to the starting point of our trek, Lukla, a Sherpa village. Then our Journeys to the base camp follow a steep river valley to Namche Bazaar, the gateway of the Khumbu trekking. The settlement is located in a natural arena overlooking the valley with the amazing beauty of the surrounding mountains. We take a day of rest in Namche to get acclimatization to the altitude with the chance to explore the surrounding areas and villages of Kunde and Khumjung. Our trek to Base Camp continues with stopover for the night at the magnificent Tangboche monastery, with unforgettable views of the peaks there. Then out base camp trip route continues to the north through one of the original Sherpa settlements in this region, Dingbuche. After resting another extra day in Dingbuche for the acclimatization, we continue our trip and the landscape becomes more remote and desolate as we make our way closer and closer to the highest summit on earth. Finally, we are rewarded for our efforts as we achieve the ultimate goal to reach at Everest Base Camp, and the great feeling of satisfaction that accompanies our triumph. We enjoy this extraordinary atmosphere and follow it up with a hike to Kala Patthar viewpoint, before eventually begin a peaceful journey back to Namche Bazaar and a flight from Lukla.

Amazing trip!
Hannah Brown From Britain At

“What an amazing trek this was and one I will never, ever forget.
The Outfitter team were brilliant and organised everything incredibly well. All lodges were booked prior to arriving at each village which was perfect after a long day trekking. The views were exceptional and the weather, very fortunately, was fabulous. Obviously Outfitter cannot control this but I do recommend going late March/early April. We also went just before the UK Easter holidays which meant the trail was much, much quieter - as we were descending on the 5th April, it was clearly much busier due to the influx of people from the UK/Europe.
Our guide, Sudip, was brilliant. He played cards with us every evening, educated us during our trek and always ensured we were okay throughout the trip. He was simply superb and very funny too! We would also like to credit Subas for being a fabulous porter - I definitely recommend paying out for a porter as when reaching higher altitude, your bag can seem a heck of a lot heavier than when in Lukla!!
Although Outfitter plan out an itinerary, they allow a lot of freedom and flexibility so that it suits you. We were quite quick walkers and were happy to push on to a village an hour or so further (when descending); Sudip and the Outfitter team allowed for this which made us feel in control of our trip. I know the same would be possible should you be struggling with altitude, injuries etc. and you wish to slow down a little. Of course, when ascending it is really important to try and stick to what Outfitter suggest as to minimise altitude sickness!

Overall, we had the most amazing trip and are very grateful for the Outfitter team. I would definitely recommend the company though it would have been even better if a hot drink was included with lunch and dinner”
Excellent Everest Base Camp Trek - Nov 2016

“I´ve just returned from Everest Base Camp and this has been the trek of a lifetime and a huge achievement. It was such an adventure!! Having had the support and professionalism from Outfitter Nepal´s team was the key to the success of this trek. From the very beginning, through the exchange of several emails with Raj (Executive Director) to book this trek, to the very end when we had dinner together to celebrate, the quality of the services provided by this company exceeded my expectations. Trekking at high altitude entails several risks, but the trek guide and porter were constantly checking how I was feeling as we climbed higher up in the mountains. The team booked rooms at comfortable teahouses for me and we could choose breakfast, lunch and dinner options from a menu at the places we stopped to eat during the trek and at the teahouses. Food was surprisingly good during this trek. The professionalism of the team guaranteed my journey to be pleasant and safe. Having had the support of a knowledgeable trekking team was a key factor for the success of this trek. I highly recommend Outfitter Nepal and I´m looking forward to going back to Nepal and doing other treks in the Himalayas with them!!
