  • The stepped pastures above Pokhara.
  • Visit the inward sanctuary of Annapurna with panoramic views of 10 peaks over 6000m tall.
  • Views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and Kaligandaki from Poonhill.
  • Enclosed by a ring of inspiring mountains, including Annapurna I with its 8091m (26540ft).
The Annapurna Panorama trek is an ideal choice for those folks seeking a short and relatively easy trek while still getting to experience a real trek and still getting close to the Annapurna mountain range in warmer temperatures (thanks to lower elevations). This exciting package is designed to give travellers a very satisfying scenic walk on a tight schedule, and with many experienced in a short time span.

This scenic trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense green forests and past icy waterfalls where we will stop to cool our face with white natural water. Around every turning point we will get tantalizing glimpses of high mountains being right in-front of our eyes. In fact, the entire horizon will be filled with mesmerising mountain landscapes.

The most popular massif of the Annapurna region is protected by the first and largest conservation area in Nepal. This area will provide great views of Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna and Annapurna South. Other peaks that we will also see are Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal, Tukuche Peak and Mt. Dhaulagiri.

Aside from spectacular scenery we will pass through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs and Magars people and through dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna’s with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail) dominating the skyline.

This trek gives an excellent taste of the culture and traditions of the Sherpa and Gurung people of the upper Himalaya. At the climax of this trek you will climb Poon Hill at dawn to enjoy one of the most spectacular mountain panoramas on Earth.

We are looking forward to take you on an adventure of a lifetime.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about this tour.
  • What is the required budget for a trip to Nepal?

How much you spend in Nepal is largely decided by things you want to do in the country. A 5-day trekking trip in Nepal can start from as little at USD 400 per person. A weekend-long safari in Chitwan National Park is available at less than USD 200.

On average, seven days in Nepal with accommodation and some or all meals included costs anywhere between USD 700 to USD 1500 per person. Good rooms at hotels in Nepal range from USD 25 to over USD 150 per person, per night, while around USD 1.5 a day can buy you three meals in decent restaurants.

  • Is a visa on arrival available?

Typically, yes. However, in response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. It may be necessary to obtain a tourist visa in your own country before travel. For updated information on visas, please check the Nepal Tourism Board and the Government of Nepal Immigration websites.

  • How does it work with a porter?

Generally, the porter will pick up the baggage in the morning and drop it at the hotel in the evening. You will not always be walking with your porter or have access to your bag during the day, while trekking.

  • Is Asia open for tourists?

Despite the initial fears of the Covid-19 pandemic, most Asian countries have managed to mitigate its effects. As such, many popular destinations throughout the continent are currently open for travelers with precautionary measures like mandatory vaccinations. A few countries, however, require newly arrived travelers to spend a couple of days in quarantine.

As of February 2022, countries like Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia are officially open for vaccinated tourists without the need for quarantine. Meanwhile, India and Indonesia are two of the countries that may require you to quarantine for up to a week on arrival. However, Japan, Vietnam, and Myanmar are yet to open their doors to visitors.

  • How much money do I need to bring with me?

Your personal budget obviously depends on your spending habits and what is included in your trip cost. If accommodation is included, but meals are not, we would suggest that you bring around 30 USD per day per person for meals. Having a hot shower or charging your device sometimes costs extra. There are also sometimes small crafts/souvenirs to buy along the trekking route which you may want to bring extra money for. Also, consider whether you would be staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara before or after your trek.
