Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the preferred trekking destinations in Nepal. It is one of the best trekking trails. The trek package is suitable for moderate trekkers as well. Tourists who enjoy walking on the sloppy lands and experience the mountains beauty select this destination. One can feel the pleasant climate of the mountains during the trek.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC Trek) commences with a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Then, you can start your trek through Ulleri and Ghorepani. Then you will be trekking to Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali. Finally, you will reach to ABC. Waking up at ABC is the most memorable mornings of your life. You will be surrounded by mountains in all directions and can enjoy a magnificent sunrise.
On the way back, the trek will make a detour to JhinuDanda. There's a form where you can enjoy the natural hot springs in the Modi Khola River. The trek offers beautiful views, good hiking trails. You can enjoy the views of rhododendron and bamboo forests. You will be trekking with one of the best professional licensed trek guides in Nepal.

  • What is the required budget for a trip to Nepal?

    How much you spend in Nepal is largely decided by things you want to do in the country. A 5-day trekking trip in Nepal can start from as little at USD 400 per person. A weekend-long safari in Chitwan National Park is available at less than USD 200.

    On average, seven days in Nepal with accommodation and some or all meals included costs anywhere between USD 700 to USD 1500 per person. Good rooms at hotels in Nepal range from USD 25 to over USD 150 per person, per night, while around USD 1.5 a day can buy you three meals in decent restaurants. 

  • Is a visa on arrival available?

    Typically, yes. However, in response to the current Covid situation, rules for arriving visitors may change frequently and sometimes without notice. It may be necessary to obtain a tourist visa in your own country before travel. For updated information on visas, please check the Nepal Tourism Board and the Government of Nepal Immigration websites.


  • How does it work with a porter?

    Generally, the porter will pick up the baggage in the morning and drop it at the hotel in the evening. You will not always be walking with your porter or have access to your bag during the day, while trekking. 

  • Is Asia open for tourists?

    Despite the initial fears of the Covid-19 pandemic, most Asian countries have managed to mitigate its effects. As such, many popular destinations throughout the continent are currently open for travelers with precautionary measures like mandatory vaccinations. A few countries, however, require newly arrived travelers to spend a couple of days in quarantine.

    As of February 2022, countries like Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia are officially open for vaccinated tourists without the need for quarantine. Meanwhile, India and Indonesia are two of the countries that may require you to quarantine for up to a week on arrival. However, Japan, Vietnam, and Myanmar are yet to open their doors to visitors.


  • How much money do I need to bring with me?

    Your personal budget obviously depends on your spending habits and what is included in your trip cost. If accommodation is included, but meals are not, we would suggest that you bring around 30 USD per day per person for meals. Having a hot shower or charging your device sometimes costs extra. There are also sometimes small crafts/souvenirs to buy along the trekking route which you may want to bring extra money for. Also, consider whether you would be staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara before or after your trek.
