The Zambia Liuwa Plains Migration Safari tour starts in Kasane and ends in Livingstone. The Zambia Liuwa Plains Migration Safari is a wildlife safaris and game drives tour that takes 14 days taking you from Kasane to Livingstone and through other destinations in Africa.

Witness the second largest wildebeest migration in Africa plus spectacular Victoria Falls. This semi-participation camping trip visits the little explored and stunning North Western part of Zambia, home to the second largest wildebeest migration in Africa (after the Serengeti / Masai Mara). This once a year safari experience when thousands of wildebeest travel from the Angolan Kameia National Park to the Zambian Liuwa Plains National Park is at its very best in November, and is the perfect adventure for the wildlife enthusiast. This area also offers some of the best hyena sightings in the whole of Africa! The tour commences in Botswana with game drives and a river cruise in Chobe National Park, where large numbers of elephants and hippos are regularly sighted. Our trip concludes in Livingstone, Zambia, but not before time is spent swimming in the mighty Zambezi River near Sioma Falls and admiring the thunderous Victoria Falls.

“This was an extrordinary trek, expertly led by Bir Singh and a great crew of Padam (sirdar), Chiran (front guide) and Dhan (cook/guide). Our safety and wellbeing were foremost in their minds, as well as the wish to help us achieve our goals. I was very grateful for their help and support. They also had a wonderful sense of humour, as did my trek mates, and we all had a lot of fun together. Bir Singh's daily talks about what to expect the following day were invaluable. He looked after our ailments and patched up our scrapes. The food was fantastic, such a variety of dishes. There was always something for everyone. This is not a trek for the fainthearted. The Chola Pass crossing was quite gruelling, but with the help of our guides we all made it with a great sense of achievement. Thank you also to the very hard working kitchen staff and porters.”

“The South Africa Walking Adventure trip was incredible! I was blown away by the diverse range of wildlife including the Big 5, lovely landscapes, interesting culture and history; with the highlight being the fabulous hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains including an ascent of the Amphitheatre. This trip has much to offer the first timer who has yet to experience the wonders of South Africa, or the seasoned traveller looking to do more activity beyond a classic safari.”
