Epic Gorilla Safari at Bwindi

Uganda is a land of contrasts. It is best experienced in its vast forests and stunning beauty. Its wild areas are full of all kinds of animals, right from elephants and exotic birds to chimpanzees and the lugubrious gorilla. Mountain gorilla tracking is considered to be an experience of a lifetime, as you get to see them crashing about the forest canopy, chewing thoughtfully in the bamboo thicket and just having fun, oblivious to your presence. And when they do study you, its almost like staring into another person's eyes. And then, there is the Nile, twisting its way north like a shimmering ribbon, through arid semi deserts scattered about with rocky kopjes, snowcapped peaks, freshwater beaches and smiling faces.

You will spend 3 days in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The national park is located in southwestern Uganda and home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas (approximately 400 individuals) on the planet. Depending on availability of gorilla permits at the time of confirmation, you may trek gorillas in Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga or Nkuringo.
