Highly Recommended!!
5 - Excellent
  • Diane Briand
“My family and I highly recommend this experience. We had a beautiful and very tasty evening with plenty of food and drinks. We learned how to prepare and cook the famous Florentine steak, which we enjoyed after in the dining room. Very good value for money especially for families of young adults. Overall, one of our best evening and experience in Florence!”
Excellent tour!

  • Patrick McIntyre
“The staff was awesome and we learned a bit about cuts of meat and the best way to prepare a larger cut of meat. Had a great time, all the food and the wine were excellent. Our group of five adults could not give a greater recommendation!”
Great tour for those who love wine and pasta!

  • Gaston Van De Ree
“The two guides/cooks gave us a great evening. The Pasta-making was fun and both of the ladies took the time to explain all about pasta, the ingredients and the making of it. There are two things that were a little disappointing. When we came to the meeting point (we were a little late, that was our fault), we had to walk 15 minutes more to another place. It would have been convenient if we would have known this. We had to walk all the way back in the direction we came from, so we could have saved a 30 minute walk! Second is that the only drinks we could get were alcohol and water. We had some in our group who don't drink alcohol so it would have been nice if they could have gotten something else besides water.”

Travel Tips for Cooking Classes Tours in Italy

  • Remember to make your tour guide and culinary tutors aware of any allergies or sensitivities you might have on a cooking tour in Italy.
  • Check the import laws of your home country to make sure what you are taking back is legal.
  • Be aware that cooking tours in Tuscany focus on meat dishes. They might not be a good choice for vegetarians or vegans.
  • Ask the locals about their tips and tricks when it comes to cooking and eating the food they love, even when you are not in your cooking class. After all, the best way to learn how to cook like an Italian is to ask an Italian.
