An inspiring adventure through the historical and geographical heart of Turkey. Capture the incredible history and geographical diversity of Turkey, combining ancient wonders with a trek in the Taurus Mountains. Our journey commences in the wondrous city of Istanbul with the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace amid other splendours. Trek in the picturesque Taurus Mountains where an ascent of Emler Peak (3723m) is possible. Finally, we travel into the heart of Turkey to the fascinating region of Cappadocia with its rock hewn landscapes where chimneys, churches and scenic valleys characterise the area. “What a trip!!! Thanks to Subal, Denis and Amba who were by our side to ensure we make it thru each day. It was a beautiful trek and never underestimate the climb up Gokyo Ri and Chola Pass. The scenery on top were just spectacular. No words to explain it. The team were awesome and very attentive to our needs. Thank you again and we made it!!!!!”

“The trip was AMAZING. It was the first time I travelled with WE and I found the trip highly professional, right through from the guides (delightful, knowledgeable, flexible, and great leaders) to the bus drivers (humorous, maintaining clean bus, helpful and safe drivers). Tour guides were well informed, considerate of the individuals and group needs and always finding best options for meals, demonstrating the local food. The accommodation was superb. I'm glad I travelled outside Ramadan but did experience 3 days of Ramadan in Tehran - food more expensive, restaurants touristy and harder to find. Sights stunning, but be prepared to fill the day. Unexpected friendly locals, ready to engage and find out more about their country. I have been travelling for 38 years and this trip was one of the best....loved Iran and Uzbekistan. I would highly recommend WE and now dreaming where to travel next!!”
