Starting in Inverness and ending in Pitlochry, the "Scottish Highlands Cycle" trip is a self-guided bicycle trip that takes 8 days. You will travel through Drumnadrochit, Fort William and Pitlochry in Scotland. "Scottish Highlands Cycle" is a private trip which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

Experience the natural beauty and stunning lakes of the Scottish highlands at handlebar level. Cycle from Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands, along the shores of Loch Ness to Fort William. During this week long trip we cycle along scenic paths and quiet forest trails with opportunities enroute to spot the wildlife of the region including red deer, stag or golden eagle. A day in Fort William is set aside to rest or ascend Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. A train journey takes you across desolate Rannoch Moor to Loch Rannoch, where you continue on bike to the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, nestled in the Perthshire hills.

“Overall this wa a lovely walk and we would recommend to others. England is a lovely country for walking. Enjoyed the scenery, going through 3 national parks. The old English pubs we stayed in and the people we met along the way.”

Review for another Sherpa Expeditions tour
“The route notes were among the best I have used with only a few small points. There is an awful lot of straight forest paths which I happily accepted as the price to pay to get a good walking itinerary visiting so many chateaux. The meals included were excellent and the tour correctly graded.”
