David's knowledge was outstanding and his attention to detail in regards to accommodation travel and gear storage was second to none. “"I did the 4 Days / 3 Nights Inca Trail with José as our main guide and Carlos as his sidekick. José gave great explanations and history lessons about Inca culture and the ruins. He knew all the spots (for pictures, breaks) and provided the best itinerary to make this a memorable experience (sunrise at Machu Picchu). Big love to all the porters, because without them this trek would not be possible in this way. The food was really good and plenty to feed all the hungry hikers. I would recommend going with this tour operator to hike this trail. However one thing I would like to note is that fair compensation to everybody involved (porters!!!, chef, guides) should be improved to reduce the additional tipping culture. Of course all tips are always voluntary, but if there is specific guidelines with recommended amounts from the company how much to tip you know the baseline salary is probably not enough and it feels very forced upon the tourists to be the bad/good guy. I also felt the suggested amounts were quite high for an already quite expensive tour. Go Super Hikers and Green Machine -!"”

“Let me start by explaining how David went above and beyond to get permits for our trip in the last minute. We contacted him via WhatsApp, one day before of our trip to check if he can accommodate us. He did some magic and got permits for next day. It’s just unbelievable. We did the 2 day short Inca Trail and David was beyond exceptional. His English was excellent, his local knowledge from being from a near by town meant we got a very personal history tour, not only about the Incas, but the local fauna and Flora. His passion was admirable. David made the experience perfect for someone who wants to hike and learn about the history! It was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend!”
