Iceland Waterfall Tours 2024/2025

Known for its stunning natural landscapes, Iceland boasts a plethora of magnificent waterfalls that attract travelers from around the world. Embark on an unforgettable adventure by taking waterfall tours in Iceland. Visit Gullfoss (Golden Falls) during the summer months to witness the powerful flow of water or Brúarfoss (Bridge Waterfall) in winter to experience the snow-covered beauty under the Northern Lights. The best part about chasing waterfalls in Iceland is that most of the popular ones can be accessed from Ring Road or Route 1, which encircles the island; others can be accessed during any Iceland hiking trip. The iconic Goðafoss (Waterfall of Gods) and the lesser-known gems like Hjálparfoss (Help Falls) shouldn’t be missed.

Amazing Iceland
4 - Very Good
  • CHRISTINA KALOGEROPOULOU
“the tour is very nice but more activities could be included, such as hiking, diving etc. It would be nice if they added some extra days to visit Greenland which is very close. There was a lot of driving. The hotels were impressively good. Iceland is expensive and more meals could alos be included. The tour guide was good and gave insight to the local living.”
Iceland in 4 days
4 - Very Good
  • Elaine Cooper
“Our wonderful guide, Erikur, made this tour interesting and unforgettable! His local knowledge of the area, including the history, the geology, and more, was both informative and entertaining. He did his best to accommodate all of our needs, and was clearly proud of his heritage. The accommodations were basic but comfortable, and both included a good breakfast.”

Tips for Iceland Waterfall Tours

  • Waterfalls in Iceland tend to be crowded during the afternoons, so if you want to capture some uninterrupted photos of the waterfalls, plan your trip for early morning or late evening.
  • Combine your Iceland Northern Lights tour with Iceland waterfall tours to get two quintessential experiences in one trip.
  • Tour the Goðafoss during summer, as it is the best time to witness this waterfall in all its glory.
  • Check the weather conditions and road accessibility before your trip, as some waterfalls in Iceland may be harder to reach during winter.
