Can Gio Biosphere Reserve is a wetland located 40 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. The site, listed as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, is an important wildlife sanctuary in Vietnam characterized by a wetland biosystem dominated by mangroves and many rare species. Join us to explore one of Vietnam’s most diverse ecological areas and to step deeper into the forest to see monkeys, crocodiles and more at Vam Sat wildlife sanctuary.
At 8:00 am, our guide will pick you up at your hotel for the drive to Vam Sat mangrove forest in Can Gio District. We'll arrive around 10 am. Upon arrival, we'll head out to see the sights by boat for and enjoy the river scenery. Pass Lo Ren and Vam Sat rivers, and see the fisherman catching crab.
The morning will include many other activities in the area, including visiting the bat biosphere, trying your hand at crab fishing, and climbing Tang Bong Tower and enjoying the panoramic view from the top.
Have lunch at the Vam Sat restaurant and enjoy the many local seafood dishes. Then after lunch, visit the crocodile farm where you can learn about crocodile breeding and visit the little crocodiles.
Head back to the city for an arrival time around 4.30pm.
