Throw away the petrol guzzling engines for a bit of foot power in this awesome tour of Ho Chi Minh City. We will walk, and take a ride on the traditional ‘cyclo’, as we see the sights that this special city has to offer. Starting at the General Post Office, we stroll past some superb architecture, and make a stop at the historic Reunification Palace. Our informative guide will tell us all about the importance of the site, with enough time for a few happy snaps before we move along.
After a visit to the War Remnants museum, we’ll hit the streets again, this time driven around on the iconic ‘cyclo’. Give your feet a rest, and the driver’s feet a workout, as we continue to take in the views of the historic HCMC from this non-polluting form of transport. We’ll pedal up past Hai Ba Trung, taking in the sights and sounds, before finishing up at Tan Dinh market.
This traditional suburban wet market is a great experience, and you can see the routines of local people as they come to shop in this bustling swarm of shops and stalls. From here we continue on our ‘cyclos’, past Tao Dan Park, before saying goodbye to our drivers and heading by foot again into Ben Thanh market. This iconic market marks the end to this fantastic Ho Chi Minh City tour, and you are free to continue to explore or call it a day.
