The vacation starts in Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam. Soak up the colonial architecture and traditional art, wander through the narrow roads, and witness the local activities. Then head to Hoa Lu Tam Coc, a land famous for overlapping mountains and Halong Bay. Bike ride through rice paddies and enjoy the scenery of rural villages. Spend some time in Hoi An town, and visit the traditional houses influenced by Chinese and Japanese architecture in the 15th century. Head to the south of Vietnam and visit the famed Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground system with a history connected to the Vietnam War.
