“The variety of terrain and scenery and the different options options available on most days were a good feature on this trip, while the accommodation and transport arrangement were very satisfactory.”

“Very good way to see the identified sites in an efficient way. Guide Marianna was very good. Our family of 4 (parents and college-age children) thought the level of detail in the tour was about right. We would have appreciated a little more free time to explore the insides of the Meteora monastery and nunnary visited. That portion of the trip seemed rushed. But overall the trip was just what we hoped for. The Celestial part to visit islands was terrific. We loved it. We appreciated the whole trip and we recommend it.”

“It was a wonderful 10 day trip. I personally recommend anyone who is interested in Greek culture, history and background. Our tourist guide, Artemis was amazing and the drivers were cool and kind. All the places we have visited were simply awesome and stunning. The hotels for each day was really cool and the food of course delicious. The cruise ship Celestyal was awesome. The Greek islands were beautiful. Really worth it”

Travel Tips for Adventure Tours in Greece
If you are heading to Crete to surf, you must take seasons into account. While Paleochora beach is ideal for winter, Chania is the place to go during summer. Falassarna Beach enjoys good swells all year round, but ideal conditions can be found during the summer months.
The best time to plan your Greece adventure tour is from April to May or from September to October when temperatures are moderate and precipitation levels are low.
Make sure to take your sun cream with you, as the Greek sun is always strong, regardless of the season.
When biking on the road, always pay extra attention to the traffic. Greek drivers are known for going fast and not paying too much attention to bikers.
Remember that even though Greece is on the Mediterranean Sea, it can get extremely cold here during winter. So if you are visiting in the winter or heading to the mountains, remember to bring warm clothes.
