CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Turkey Backroads tour. You can cancel the tour up to 24 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 23 days of departure.

Payment

A deposit of 400 USD is required to confirm this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 23 days before departure. For any departures within 17 October 2020 full payment is required.

  • The homestay is a wonderful opportunity to witness everyday rural life and includes a home-cooked dinner. Facilities are simple and no frills, including beds that are comfortable mattresses on the floor. You may be surprised by how much you enjoy the simple life.
  • Part of travelling with Intrepid means respecting local cultures and sensibilities. That way you get the most out of your interactions with local people and environments. People of all genders are required to dress very conservatively during the village homestay. Women are required to wear a ankle-length skirt and men must wear ankle-length trousers. Alcohol will not be available for purchase or consumption here.
  • Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be very high in July and August, though the east will be cooler than the city.
  • You’ll need your walking shoes, a hat, some sunscreen and a day pack to explore Mt Nemrut.
