The "Cappadocia Short Break" tour starts from and ends in Goreme. It is a getaways and short breaks trip that takes 4 days taking you through Goreme and Cappadocia in Turkey. "Cappadocia Short Break" is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation in hotels, transport, meals and others.

Travel to Turkey and break away from the bustle of the big cities to experience the rural culture of the Cappadocia region. A series of volcanic eruptions resulted in the area being swamped in ash, which then hardened to form a porous rock. The elements carved the terrain into the odd fairy chimneys, and later the inhabitants discovered they too could carve the rocks into homes and churches. A base in Goreme allows you to easily explore Cappadocia with a local guide, so come and discover Cappadocia's many mysteries and legends.

Is this trip right for you
  • Being one of our famous Shortbreaks we pack a lot into just a few days. Some early starts; and late finishes. If you prefer to explore at a more leisurely pace this may not be the best trip for you. Please check the trip notes before making onward travel plans.
  • Travelling alone? Our Shortbreaks are a group tour with independence, you won’t have a Tour Leader with you for the full duration of the tour, but you may be joined by other like-minded travellers to reflect and share you tissues with.
  • Being an independent traveller you won’t mind carrying your own bag, not great distances just off and on the bus or ferry and into the hotel.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about this tour.
  • How many days are enough for Europe?

You can spend a couple of months exploring Europe and still feel like you have not seen everything. Generally speaking, a two-week Europe trip should be just enough if you are looking to cover its major highlights. However, if you want a comprehensive travel experience within this duration, it is better that you focus on a region or a few countries rather than traveling all over the continent.

Choose a single country or schedule your trip around a handful of cities in different countries. While larger European cities may require three to four days to explore, you can get around smaller destinations in a day or two. Planning your trip around a particular region will cut down your travel time and save your time in transit.

  • How much does a tour to Turkey cost?

Turkey remains one of the most affordable destinations of its kind. A quick five-day tour will cost around USD 800, while a more comprehensive two-week tour will cost around USD 2,000.

  • What is the best time to visit Turkey?

The peak tourist season is from June to August but the best time to visit Turkey is the shoulder seasons between April and May and September and October. These months have the best weather and fewer crowds.

  • How many days should I spend on a visit to Turkey?

There is enough to do in Turkey for weeks on end, but a visit between a week and 10-days is the perfect amount of time. For more information, check out our article on how many days to spend in Turkey.

  • Where should I visit in Turkey as a first time visitor?

There is no shortage of things to see in Turkey, but there are many places to visit in Turkey. Cappadocia and Ephesus are two of the best places to see in Turkey, while Istanbul completes the trifecta of must-visit locations. Add a visit to Pamukkale and the Mediterranean coast into the mix and you have a well-rounded holiday.
