Wildlife Adventure (Chitwan National Park)

This is a short tour of Kathmandu valley together with a relaxing jungle safari in the tropical environment of the Terai. Chitwan National Park is the famed wildlife sanctuary where you can see the endangered one-horned rhinoceros,Sloath bears and the Bengal Tiger, as well as a large number of other wildlife.

Day1
ARRIVAL KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Meeting and assistance at the airport. You will be welcomed with Khada (Tibetan silk scarf) or flower garland outside the arrival terminal gate by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu

Day2
KATHMANDU
Morning, half-day tour of old Kathmandu city, its Durbar square, myriad of temples including the temple residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari. Proceed on to Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Afternoon, tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu

Day3
KATHMANDU – CHITWAN
After an early breakfast, drive to the Chitwan NationalPark (187km/5 hrs). Transfer to your hotel/jungle lodge. After lunch, commence on an Elephant back safari to view the games that inhabit in this park. This National park having 932 sq. kms is said to be one of the best in south Asia and famous for its population of the one horned Asian rhinoceros, several species of deer, monkeys, sloth bear, wild boar, spotted leopard, the Bengal tiger as well as other lesser mammals, birds and reptiles. Overnight at your hotel in Chitwan

Day4
CHITWAN
Full day of jungle activities such as nature walks, canoe ride, jungle walks, tribal village visit etc; In the evening a slide presentation on Nepalese wildlife or a Tharu tribal dance programmes. Overnight at your hotel in Chitwan

Day5
CHITWAN- KATHMANDU
After breakfast, commence your return journey back to Kathmandu. (Possibility to fly back with supplementary charge). Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE
Free till departure. Transfer to the airport to connect the international flight.
