Birdwatch in Alentejo offers daily tours to bird watching in Évora, a world heritage city full of history. The tour start in the city where we will try to find the city birds, like jackdaw and pallid swifts. After that we spend the rest of the day visiting several places in the county, like the special protection area for birds classified by Natura 2000 wich is characterised by open areas with cereal crops, holm oak and cork oak forests.
During this trip we will see a wide diversity of species of birds, such as different species of ducks, spoonbill, black-shouldered kite, black kite, montagu’s harrier, short-toed eagle, common crane.
During the day we will drive through the area on our four wheel drive car with regular stops to watch the surrounding countryside
