“This tour started off a bit chaotic. But I quickly learned that Cairo is a bit of a chaotic city and I learned to embrace that. Our itinerary was jam packed and we saw a ton of Egyptian highlights. The temples, ruins, and artifacts were nothing short of extraordinary. It was great to see all the different cities throughout Egypt too; Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, Hurghada. Each has its own personality. I went during a chaotic time as the virus was sweeping the globe. My only gripe about the trip was our time in Hurghada. It's labeled as an 'all-inclusive' resort but there isn't much to offer in terms of beverage, the Wi-Fi connection is atrocious, and the service wasn't great. In addition, it rained while we were there so we were stuck at the resort for an additional night before heading back to Cairo. This led many to be forced to cancel/reschedule flights back home during an already chaotic time and without the luxury of a strong internet connection. I opted to stay an additional night in Cairo, so I escaped any deep worry. Yet the rest of the trip and itinerary was a blast. Our guide, Ramez, was very knowledgable, friendly, and he accomodated everyone to the best of his abilities. It was a great experience being led by a local Egyptian and hearing about the culture first hand. I'd recommend the trip for sure!”

“This is our third trip with Expat and we never disappointed. Our tour started from Oct 2nd, 2021 to Oct 10th, 2021. We really enjoyed this tour. It was very well planned and smooth. Our tour leader, Semsem, was very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history, he always gave us detailed information about the history of each site that we visited. He looked after the team and managed the time very well. Only within 7 days (days 2 through 8) we travelled to many places in Egypt to explore the ancient temples, pyramids, tombs, museum, and more. We can recommend this tour to our friends. One area that should be improved was the bus from Hurghada to Cairo was so crowded as three tour groups were combined into one bus. It was a little unorganized and it was hard to find seats for both of us.”
