Excellent
“From the moment we were collected, it was non-stop adventure! Our guides were attentive and joined in with everything from breakfast to evening celebrations of all we experienced. We had so much food to keep us fuelled for walking, canyoning + rafting and it was all so tasty. The whole experience was just organized for us and all we had to do was enjoy + and get great photos!”

Other Practical InformationCan I book on my own? Sure you can! A lot of people do. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people. The only thing is that you need to be 18+ with no medical conditions that prohibits you from performing a strenuous activity for several hours. How big will the group be? This trip will operate with the minimum of 4 people and the maximum of 12. Please note that if at least 4 people do not book the trip it might be postponed or cancelled. What’s the food like? The food is local, fresh, home-cooked and hearty. Common food items include domestic cheeses and other dairy products, as well as dry meat, fish, freshly baked bread and pastries, and local fruits and veggies. Can my dietary needs be accommodated? Absolutely! Just let us know at the time of your booking. How fit do I need to be? A reasonable level of fitness is required for all activities. You need to be able to handle approximately 4 – 5 hours of activities per day. The hiking can be challenging in its last part, but don’t worry, your guide will help you negotiate the final section securely and safely. He will be with you at all times. You do not need any rafting or canyoning experience. Your guide will give you full instructions and a safety briefing at the start. Also, be advised that the water can get chilly in the canyon, but you will be provided with wetsuits to keep you warm. What’s the weather like? Though blocked from the coast by high mountains, the Neretva Canyon funnels a warm air into the Zupa Valley. In the summer, daytime temperatures range from 24 – 30 °C, but it can get colder at night, so bring layers of clothing to keep you warm. This is necessary especially during the autumn when the temperatures are lower. Also, during the summer days, it can sometimes get over 30 degree Celsius during the day, so be advised to bring some sort of hat and sunscreen for protection. What should I pack? All technical equipment will be provided. Please bring hiking shoes and trousers, breathable t-shirts, sandals, a swimsuit and towel, sun protection, and warm layers for the evenings. Also bring a small backpack to carry personal items throughout the day (water, snacks, shirts to use during activities). Here’s our check list: Hiking shoes Hiking trousers Breathable, quick-drying, sport clothes Sandals Swimsuit and towel Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sun block) Warm layers for evenings Backpack Shorts Energy/protein bars What flights should I book? For arrival: You will be met at the Dubrovnik airport on Thursday. Your driver will be there to meet all travellers scheduled to land by 13:00 pm or earlier. Your host will be in touch before the trip to finalize all details. for departure: Your tour will end at Dubrovnik Airport on Sunday. You are free to book any flight that departs after 10:30 am. Getting there and away? Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is served by cheap, regular flights. You can get any flight that suits you, but make sure it fits the pickup and drop off times to take advantage of the included transfers. We will contact you before you leave to check your arrival and departure plans. How do I meet the driver? The driver will be holding a sign with the name of the tour. We’ll give you all the extra details before travelling. Important notes This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, special events, etc.
