“We - my wife and me - joined this tour which started on 17 Aug 2019. We arrived in Belgrade on the day before DAY-1 very late in the evening, and left Dobrovnik on the next day of DAY-7 very early in the morning. So we asked Bookmundi to reserve the Hotels for two more nights, and to arrange unusual transfer from/to the Airports. And everything was OK.
The tour itinerary was well arranged, so that we could visit 4 countries in 7 days. We had one problem - it took almost 3 hours to cross the border from Montenegro to Croatia, and it was impossible to go City Tour in Dobrovnik on Day-6 as scheduled. But they flexibly shifted the City Tour on Day-7.
Mercedes mini-Bus was confortable for our group of nine tourists and the drivers were excellent.
Above all, we liked our Guide, Kristina, who spoke good English, and was always friendly and cheerful. We liked the story she told about the Bridge on the Drina, because we have a similar story in Japan.
We had several inconveniencesabout the hotels 1) the hotel in Mokra Gora closed the Sauna earlier than scheduled time, so we coud not take Sauna. 2) The restaurant in Novotel Sarajevo refused to serve any kind of alcohol, nevertheless everyone in town was drinking. 3) the hotel in Trevinje does not have elavators. It was really tough to carry our luggages to 3rd floor.
But, after all, we would say it was a good tour.”
“Where do I start....from Captain Mate, to the boat crew of Zvone and Ante, our guide Nicola, to our wonderful chef, Snjezana and of course Zoran as our bartender, it was all so amazing. These guys treated us like family and by the end of it we felt like family. Unfortunately we had bad weather the first day and couldn’t leave the port, so Nicola took us all out to dinner and paid for it plus a drink each. Something I’m sure other companies would not offer. The itinerary was brilliant, with out of the way swim stops that were lengthy and never felt rushed. The inclusions of the wine tasting in Jelsa, entry into Mijet National Park, and free entry into Club Revelin just to name a few, were also not offered by other companies. I came onboard as a solo traveller, and never felt left out or lonely. You can join in as much as you like, or read a book in the sun. Its fantastic getting to know your fellow travellers, and we all felt like we had made friends for life. I cant recommend enough seeing the Dalmatian coast this way. If you’ve been thinking about it, this is the way to do it. Horizon Sail are a family owned business and every time they run a tour the passengers are welcomed into their family and treated as such. Im still dreaming about the fabulous lunches we were cooked. Do yourself a favour and book with Horizon Sail.”
“The sail trip from Split to Dubrovnik was a trip of a lifetime and Horizon Tour go over and above to make this a great, fun experience for everyone on board. I was travelling solo but soon made friends with the great group of people on board. I did the more budget tour on Sretan, which was comfortable, with amazing food and took in all the key sites with plenty of information on the culture and history provided by Tour Leader Oliver.”
