What’s the food like? The food is local, fresh, home-cooked and hearty. Common food items include domestic cheeses and other dairy products, dry meats, fish, freshly baked bread and pastries, and local fruits and veggies.Breakfasts and dinners will be served at the hotels as per the itinerary, while packed lunches will be provided on days where they are mentioned on the itinerary. Can my dietary needs be accommodated? Absolutely! Just let us know at the time of your booking. How fit do I need to be? A reasonable level of fitness is required for hiking. You should be able to handle 5 – 6 hours of hiking at a continuous pace. You do not need any prior canyoning experience to enjoy this trip as your guide will give you full instructions and a safety briefing at the start and help you in challenging parts. However, to participate in canyoning, you must be over 18 years old, must know how to swim and not be suffering from any kind of heart or lung diseases. What’s the weather like? Summer is the best season to experience Montenegro's coastal areas where daytime summer temperatures range from 24 – 30 °C. However, it can get colder at night. So don’t forget to still bring some layers of clothing to keep you warm. What should I pack? All technical equipment will be provided. Please bring hiking shoes and trousers, breathable t-shirts, sandals, a swimsuit and a towel, sunscreen and warm layers of clothes.
