Backroads To Venice - Guided Cycle is a guided small group trip that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

A guided cycle along the quiet paths and backroads to the canal city of Venice via Shakespeare's Verona. This enchanting journey takes us through the historic Veneto region of north-west Italy. Taking in the splendid cities of Trento, Verona and Vicenza we have time to appreciate the architectural and cultural delights specific to each. Aside from exploring by bicycle, we enjoy a wine tasting and guided city tours of both Verona and Venice. Winding through pretty meadows and orchards we head east to the lovely town of Mestre, located on the doorstep of Venice.

“This is an excellent cycle tour. Most of the riding is on dedicated cycle paths with no cars and when on roads they are tertiary country roads with little traffic. Great scenery, very good food, hotels mostly very acceptable and the bikes are very good quality. Overall an outstanding tour.”

“Very little idea what to expect, was more than pleasantly surprised. Bicycles, whilst not road racers were very practical and the panier bag as well as the storage which went on handle bars very convenient. Strip maps and information as to the features of the tour excellent. Group a convivial lot. Hotels all of high standard as were the included meals. When we arrived at hotel in Mestre (Venice) there was a group assembling for a self guided tour to Croatia, wish I was included!!”

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Backroads to Venice - Guided Cycle tour. You can cancel the tour up to 70 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 69 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 03 April 2021, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 03 April 2021, a deposit is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 69 days before trip departure.
