Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, our assistant will meet you and transport to Darjeeling. This is a 3-4 hours journey, through Assam tea plantations and tiny villages. Built on top of a ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalaya and is a popular destination for Westerners and Nepali alike.
Overnight comfortable stay your hotel in Darjeeling (2130m).
Day 02 : Darjeeling monastery day tours. 4-5hours
After breakfast, we will visit local sightseeing places including Observatory Hill, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the famous Everest Museum. Adjoining is the Padam Naidu Zoological park.
Visit the Tibetan Self Help Centre, Happy vally Tea Garden and the Dali Gumpa (or Dali Gomba is also known as the Druk Thupten Sangag Choeling Monastery). In the evening take a stroll around the market place. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Explore Darjeeling with World heritage Toy train ride and culture
Early Morning at 4:00am, we head off for an excursion to the Tiger Hill, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Darjeeling, but you’ll have to get up early to enjoy it at its best!
The hill, about 14 km from Darjeeling is at an altitude of 8,515 feet and is famous for its spectacular views at sunrise. The top of Mount Everest is visible, between the peaks of Kanchenjunga and Makalu. The trip to the summit of the hill is through Ghoom Monastery , (know as Yiga Choling Monastery), the region's most famous monastery, has wonderful old murals and is home to monks of the yellow-hat sect. Built in 1850, it enshrines a 5m-high statue of the Maitreya Buddha (Future Buddha) and 300 beautifully bound Tibetan texts.
Coma back to the hotel after breakfast to start your day tour including Darjeeling toy train. It goes through the city along with the other vehicles and it's a wonderful feeling to ride on it. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Darjeeling - Pelling (108-km 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Peeling. Later, we will visit Pemayangtse Monastery , which is a Buddhist monastery in Pemayangtse. It is one of the oldest and premier monasteries of Sikkim. It is not only one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim but also the most famous in west Sikkim.
Originally built by Lhatsun Chenpo in the 17th century, as a small Lhakhang, it was subsequently enlarged during the reign of the third Chogyal Chakdor Namgyal who was considered as Lhatsun Chenpo's third reincarnate, Jigme Pawo. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 05 : Pelling to Yuksom (34km 4-5 hours)
After breakfast at hotel, we will transport you to Yuksom. On the way, we will visit Kheocheplari Lake, originally known as Kha-Chot-Palri (meaning the heaven of Padmasambhava). This is a sacred Lake for both Buddhists and Hindus, which is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake. Overnight Halt in Yaksoom.
Day 06 : Yuksom to Gangtok (120km 5 hours drive)
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Gangtok the Capital town of Sikkim State via Rabongla through the famous tea gardens of Sikkim,T emi Tea Estate. After taking a view of tea garden, we continue our drive to Gangtok. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 07 : Gangtok sightseeing tours. -4-5hours
Breakfast at hotel. visit Gangtok tourist sites including The Rumtek monastery. This is a famous monastery, all over the world, especially among the Tibetan Buddhists, and is situated near Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
Visite Enchey Monastery, which was established in 1909 above Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim in the Northeastern Indian state.
In the evening, we walk around the MG Marg. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Transfer to Airport or NJP Train station
After breakfast, we will transfer you to either Bagdogra airport or NJP Train station.
