This Darjeeling Singalila Ridge trek is one of the most popular trekking where the Indian and Nepal Himalayas meet and is located in the hill region of Sikkim and Darjeeling districts.

The mountainous area at the high altitude of 3700m or 11,929ft. makes the Singalila Sandakphu Trek without any doubt the highlight of this region. Singalila is called the paradise for trekking.

A trek through the memorable Singalila National Park is decorated with magnolia and rhododendron and surrounded with bamboo groves and pine forests. The mountains are covered with snow all year creating a beautiful backdrop to the trek. It is the best point to discover the world's highest peaks - Mt.Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Lhotse as well as the Bhutan ridge.

Day 01: Darjeeling - Maneybhanjyang 2134m by private car - Trek to Tumling 3070m

After an early breakfast our driver and guide will come to pick you at 9:00 am from your hotel to take you to Maneybhanjyang (34 kms, 2 ½ hrs drive your starting point of trek).

At 2134 meters, and also known as the village of tribes people between Indian and Nepali border you have to entry your passport and get an Indian visa.

Today you will trek up to the Tumling Ridge which is 11km trek from Manabhanjyang through the Buddhist monastery, local village, rhododendron forest. We will reach our destination for the day - Tumling - in 6-7 hrs.

Overnight stay in a comfortable private lodge at Tumling.

Day 02 : Trek from Tumling (2940m) - via Kalapokhri - Sandakphu (3636M) Trek 7hrs

Wake up early for a sunrise view from Tumling Top. You will get fabulous views of both Singalila and Chola Ranges from here.

Return to Tumling for breakfast and after breakfast take the trail through the Singalila National Park - via Gairibas - Kalipokhari to Sandakphu. The trail leads one through bamboo glades and farmlands with quaint little villages inhabited by warm and friendly people.

After lunch at Kalapokhari we continue our trek to Bikhey Banjyang towards Sandakphu.

Overnight at a comfortable private lodge at Sandakphu which is the highest point (3,636mt and 12500ft) of your Singalila ridge trek.

Day 03: Sandakphu (3636m) – Phalut (3600m) 7hrs

Wake up before sunrise to watch the pink, red and finally golden glow of sunlight as it inches its way East to West across the face of the Himalayas.

Resume trekking after breakfast from Sandakphu to Phalut (3600 meters). It is one of the loftiest peaks in the Singalila Range and Sandakphu to Phalut is the most spectacular of the trek. The burned silver fir forest makes a beautiful sight.

After a walk of 4 hrs from Sandakphu, you will come across a stone house with its roof blown off on the top of a small ridge. The place is known as Sabarkum and is 14 km from Sandakphu.

Day 04: Phalut - (3600m) to Gorkhey (2500m) 14km 5hrs

Phalut is most beautiful place in the whole trek. When we step out of the hut at dawn, the valley below us is filled with clouds at one side. The sun peeps through the clouds flowing into the Valley like river down and around the hill.

The trek today from Phalut to Gorkhey from where we temporarily say goodbye to the views of Kangchenjunga and the eastern Himalaya and is another beautiful day of walking through rich forests of rhododendrons and magnolias with great birdlife. Finally, we reach Gorkhey, a nice village, which is famous for eco-tourism.

Day 05: Gorkhey (2500m) - Timburey (1800m (13km 6hrs Trek

After breakfast, we start our trekking via Samandin to Ramam. About 5 hours trek till the trail reaches the meeting of two streams called Gorkhey Khola. It's a picture postcard place.

Resume trekking via Samandin to Ramam so this day we stay overnight at private home stay Timburey.

Day 06: Timburey – Rimbeek - Darjeeling (2020m) and drive 4hours to Darjeeling

After your breakfast, the trek from Timburey to Rimbeek via Srikhola village is an easy walk.

After your lunch at Rimbeek later we meet with vehicles and drive to Darjeeling for 4 hours.

Overnight at your Hotel in Darjeeling.

The company cannot be held responsible for the failure of the client to obtain the necessary Indian visas. (i.e.Driving License, Passport, Voter-ID Card & School ID Card for children).
Cancellation The advance deposit is non-refundable in case of any cancellation. Last hour (48 hours) cancellation will apply 50% of total cost.
