“If you are into trekking and climbing, you will definitely enjoy the 6 days tour (if you are lucky, you will have Sangay as a guide). The amazing views of Everest and Kanchenjunga, cows and goats in the mist, rhododendron in blossom, various plants from forest trees to banana palms! Apart from that you would appreciate the hospitality of local villagers and their great Tibetan and Nepali cuisine! Just keep in mind that it might be a bit cold when you reach 3600 ms.”

The accommodation in homestays was such a highlight and provided a wonderful cultural experience where delicious Indian and Nepali food was cooked fresh, often with ingredients from the family gardens. Teahouses welcomed us in and gave us refreshing tea along the way.We were in awe of this incredible part of the world and although the weather was often misty, were treated to fine weather in Phalut and saw a full 180 degree view of Mt Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu. “I completed a 6 -day Singalila ridge trek with this tour company. It was an incredible experience! I am a woman, and I was traveling in India alone. Even though it was the off-season, I was so pleased that the company arranged for me to do this trek with four other women. The trek took us along the border and into Nepal, where we were able to see Kanchenjunga and Mt. Everest at dawn (at 12,000 ft). It was winter (and very cold), but the company arranged for some lovely accommodations along the three nights of our trek. The food was amazing, the trekking was an enjoyable challenge, and the views along the entire trek were absolutely breathtaking. Binod, our kind and competent guide, was absolutely wonderful, and I'm grateful for him leading us through the wilderness in this magical place! I absolutely recommend this company to everyone!
