“The staff at Zara are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. The guides that Zara use are professional and speak excellent English. They choose their "team", as I found it interesting to learn that the porters are independent and just contracted work. It's up to the guides to chose who they can rely on. The porters work so hard and are the salt of the earth. I was so impressed. I have met many very happy people who have climbed multiple times and always use Zara. You become part of the famly here. You're never forgotten and you are well looked after. I highly recommend Zara Tours. They get an A++”

“If we could give this safari tour company more than five stars, we would. They helped us in creating a truly EPIC African Safari & KILIMANJARO TREKKING!! Everything exceeded our expectations. We told them our interests and priorities for the trip and our agents worked hard to make sure it was all we wanted and more. Even after a few changes with travel dates. Our safari tour designer provided absolutely professional and first-class service. Every booking and guide, porters, driver and staff person we met were exemplary, and the suggestions they made for us were fantastic. As first-time travelers to Africa, with group of 10 students we had many questions, and our agent responded promptly and in detail to all our questions. Brian, the companys managing director and his partner met with us in person not once but twice - that level of service is something we have not encountered before. Our Kili guide and Safari driver was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly tour staffs we have ever met - we were sad to leave them. We cannot recommend this safari tour company highly enough! Our expectations were high, and they were exceeded!”

“This is absolutely the best company with which to summit Kilimanjaro. My wife and I just went in July. We contacted several companies before choosing this one to plan our trip, and we were glad we did. Noel was very, very helpful to communicate with by e-mail and phone. He listened closely to what we wanted, helped us make decisions based on his close knowledge of Tanzania, and responded patiently and promptly to my endless lists of questions...even helped me learn a few words of Swahili. The hiking was beautiful, challenging but not overwhelming. Everyone in our group was able to summit because of the guiding, leadership and support of all the team. The guides, assistant guides, chef, and porters are excellent. Very professional and helpful. We choose this operator because of its reputation for safety and success. The only way to see the real Tanzania is with this company. Their first priority is that you have the trip of your lifetime. They have a wonderful staff of friendly and helpful locals. The food is amazing. The guides are simply the best of the best. Regan and John are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly for Mount Kilimanjaro. We think the company offers some unique insights/experiences into the country because it is owned by Tanzanians. Although I don't know when my schedule will permit it, I am already looking forward to my next trip.”
