“I booked all of our accommodations independently. For what it is worth, our one-night stay at the Recoleta Grand was a disappointment. I did not like hotel and would not recommend it. Though not especially convenient to the downtown area of Bariloche, we did love the views of the Charming Inn. All of the excursions were fantastic. I dont think we had a favorite. I am very pleased that Lette added the chairlift ride to our day hike. The views were absolutely amazing in Bariloche. All 3 of our guides - Agostina, Lette, and Emmy were amazing. All were super knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, warm, friendly - excellent ambassadors for Argentina. We spent the most time with Agostina who I found especially thoughtful, so she will always have a special place in my heart. Wasnt sure how I felt about the river cruise before we went, but it was terrific and Im glad we did it.”

“The moment I reached Bariloche from El Chaltn, I went to eat the infamous Patagonian chocolates with a couple friends. That night was my 21st birthday so we celebrated with some delicious fondue and argentine wine. Bariloche is a very cute town in the Lake District of Argentina with great nightlife and gorgeous outdoor day hikes and activities in Patagonia. Since it was raining though, the activities slimmed down so my friends and I walked the Circuito Chico, what people usually bike through. Its a beautiful trek through many different forest trees and lakes. We also reached the ruin of the Roman bridge. It was an all day trip and definitely worth it! On our way back we encountered a dog that decided to come on the bus with us! He, too, was enjoying the routes of Bariloche Thank you for a great birthday trip!”
