“If possible we would give 3.5 stars. It was an amazing trip and we went to some great parks (Amboseli, Tsavo West, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara). Our guide Tony was also excellent. However, the experience could have been improved by a more detailed and organised plan from Transtrek. There were unnecessary stop offs in Nairobi in poor quality hotels and not enough info was shared regarding flight times etc. The communication from Daniel, the owner, was quite poor and occasionally obstinate. Our car also broke down on a few occasions, which caused quite a lot of delay and anguish, which was partly (if insufficiently) compensated. If booking with Transtrek I would recommend taking quite an active approach to ensure you get the best options and timings aligned with your budget.”

“We chose this safari and customized it a bit. Across the board it was excellent. I would highly recommend Daniell and Transtrek. I'm very picky and hold companies to high standards. I'm usually disappointed. I researched a trip to Africa for months. Transtrek stood out from the rest. The communication was excellent every question I had was answered thoroughly and promptly. The payment process was easy. The trip from start to finish was smoothless. The vehicle, places, the activities chosen, the lodging and food were great. Tony was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly driver/guide who obviously enjoyed his job. I highly recommend Transtrek.”
