“The accommodations were great. The owner and his family did not live there, but came by each morning to have breakfast for us and help us get started each day. Nicer than the pictures online. Probably the nicest place in the area. 15 minute walk to the bear restaurants in the area. The walk was safe but Old Havana is a fraction of what it once was. The Cuban people are wonderful but are clearly dealing with a tough situation.”

“Bookmundi created a wonderful trip to Cuba for us. They suggested two wonderful casa particulares, one in old Havana, and one in the Vedado area, which were both very nice in their very different ways. It was great being an old Havana, where we could walk out the door and directly into the city with all of its many activities. And the Casa particulares in Vedado was very relaxing with its small pool where we could sit out during a hot afternoon, but it did require a taxi to get anywhere. The tour guide for the meet and greet and the oldtimer tour was so knowledgeable about Cuba. And the Tropicana show was fabulous.”
