Having had limited time, we wanted to do as much as possible in the span of a few days and this company allowed us to do just that. Erik and his team made everything extremely easy for us from the second we got off the plane to the time we needed to leave. Everything was pre arranged and there were no surprises. “"I did the 4 Days / 3 Nights Inca Trail with José as our main guide and Carlos as his sidekick. José gave great explanations and history lessons about Inca culture and the ruins. He knew all the spots (for pictures, breaks) and provided the best itinerary to make this a memorable experience (sunrise at Machu Picchu). Big love to all the porters, because without them this trek would not be possible in this way. The food was really good and plenty to feed all the hungry hikers. I would recommend going with this tour operator to hike this trail. However one thing I would like to note is that fair compensation to everybody involved (porters!!!, chef, guides) should be improved to reduce the additional tipping culture. Of course all tips are always voluntary, but if there is specific guidelines with recommended amounts from the company how much to tip you know the baseline salary is probably not enough and it feels very forced upon the tourists to be the bad/good guy. I also felt the suggested amounts were quite high for an already quite expensive tour. Go Super Hikers and Green Machine -!"”
