Starting in Cusco and ending in Puno, the tour Cycle Peru: Machu Picchu & Titicaca is a guided bicycle tour that takes 13 days. You will travel through Urubamba, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo and 5 other destinations in Peru. Cycle Peru: Machu Picchu & Titicaca is a small group tour which includes accommodation, transport and others.

On this tour we cycle between some of the world’s most iconic travel destinations: from the truly spectacular mountain top city of Machu Picchu and the high-altitude plains of the Altiplano to Cusco, the buzzing capital of the ancient Inca Empire. Pedalling past impressive Inca ruins like Sacsayhuaman, Pisac and Moray, our route hugs the Urubamba River as we cycle amongst 4000m peaks and learn about the country’s rich and fascinating history whilst staying with local families. Ending our tour on the shores of the vast Lake Titicaca, we visit the floating reed islands of Uros and discover the ‘folklore capital’ of Puno where we can stock up on hand-made souvenirs before flying home.

5 - Excellent
“This is not a relaxing holiday - as mentioned by everybody else, there are lots of early starts and you will be very tired at the end of each day. But the experience of Peru is unforgettable. I was never bored, even during the long bus trips as the scenery is breathtaking.”

5 - Excellent
“A wonderful walking trip visiting both France and Spain. Walks are easy and the scenery is beautiful and varied -forests, coastal walks, vinyards and farms. Also some of the walks were on the Compestelo trail and we did see some pilgrims. Saw quite a bit of wildlife including the local pottocks and local pigs as well as birds and also quite afew flowers. Food was good and reasonably priced. I'm not much of a drinker but the wine is plentiful and inexpensive (same price as my soft drink) and is often included with the meal. Accommodation was very good and run by very nice helpful people.”

4 - Very Good
“My first trip to Oman was a reward for reaching retirement age! I was not disappointed. Oman has so far managed to balance modernisation without the extremes of Dubai People were lovely and helpful The walking was challenging as you spent much time looking down trying to find a safe path. Also the heat hit 40c which I found difficult to cope with on occasions. The scenery is beautifully rugged with varied plant life and lots of goats!”
