Starting in Chamonix and ending in Courmayeur, the "Mont Blanc Rambler" tour is a guided walking tour that takes 7 days. You will be touring through Chamonix, Rifugio Giorgio Bertone, Col De La Forclaz and 5 other destinations in France, Italy and Switzerland. "Mont Blanc Rambler" is a small group tour which will include accommodation in hostels, meals and others. Please check the package includes section for more details.

A comfortably paced guided walk between Italy and France taking in the highlights of the Mont Blanc region. Specially devised for walkers who like to 'smell the roses' en route to the next comfortable gîte or mountain refuge, this relaxed walk around Mont Blanc still takes in the vistas for which the Tour du Mont Blanc is so famous. In the company of a small group of like minded companions and a bilingual guide, the walk traverses high passes, meadows brimming with alpine flowers and wanders through typical mountain villages. There is ample time to stop and take in the stunning scenery, enjoy a picnic of local ingredients and absorb the alpine culture as you make your way to the next accommodation. This is relaxed alpine hiking at its best.

Day 1 : Meet Chamonix and walk to Le Tour (5hrs, 450m)
Day 2 : Walk to Trient (6hrs)
Day 3 : Walk to Champex (6hrs)
Day 4 : Continue on the TMB trail to La Fouly (5hrs)
Day 5 : Ascend the Grand Col Ferret path to Elena (6hrs)
Day 6 : To Berthone (5-6 hrs)
Day 7 : Descend to Courmayeur, trip concludes (3hrs)

6 nights in gîte-hostels or refuges on a multi share basis with shared facilities (upgrade to rooms - 5 nights double, 1 nights quad share available - supplement applies. Note: not necessarily private facilities)

Meals

6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners (does not include drinks) – continental breakfasts are served and usually consist of breads, jams, coffee, tea and juices. Lunch is picnic style. Dinner will consist of 2 or 3 courses which include regional specialities.
