“The drivers and guides were mostly exceptional, especially Dany and Felipe. Joe at La Selva, Sebastian in Tortuguero, Jesus at Monteverde and Jose at Corcovado were also brilliant guides. We were less impressed by those on the Cano Island snorkeling trip and didnt like the Arenal guide asking for tips on both trips (we would voluntarily). Accommodation was very nice, especially Cala Lodge, Las Caletas and Suria. We were impressed with the itinerary, the organisation/timings and all the bookings were fine. Some questions were asked about the return boat vouchers to Sierpe when they requested cash however this was resolved. The only place we wouldnt return to is Dominical as it didnt have the same safe and friendly feeling. Overall we really enjoyed it and hope to come back to Costa Rica and would use GWA again.”

“We had a lovely welcome by Felipe and found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the country including the plants, birds, wildlife, politics, etc. He didn't try and rush us and always happy to answer any questions. Couldn't have been more helpful and enthusiastic. Also Paulo from Arenal Star was extremely helpful and stopped for bird watching or frogs whenever he saw something he thought we would enjoy”

Our 13-Day tour of Costa Rica, the Caribbean to the Pacific, arranged for the six of us was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Since none of us had been to Costa Rica before, this trip was perfect in that we not only got a wonderful flavor of the country, but it also included most of the must-see areas as well, along with some white-water rafting and zip lining. Though there were many, many reservations required for our trip, (six of us), including hotels, transportation, tours, etc., we never had any problems whatsoever. Also, all the guides on the tours were very knowledgeable and welcoming! One guide in particular was Felipe. All of us thoroughly enjoyed him and cannot give him enough praise, as he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and took excellent care of us, so that we felt like we were travelling with an old friend! What we also loved about this company is the fact that we were not only dealing with a local Costa Rican company but also a company with one of the highest Certificates for Sustainable Tourism, (4 out of 5,) given out by the Costa Rican Tourism Board.
