“Torres Del Paine, El Calafate, Perito Morena Glacier and Buenos Aires are but a few highlights of this tour. We were an intimate group of people who were very well taken care of. Thank you so much.”
A great day Reviewed Tour: Valparaiso and Viña del Mar full day tour

“The tour company left a message at our hotel telling us what time they would pick us up the next day. They were exactly on time which was great. Our tour guide (Frank?) was absolutely wonderful. So informative and he spoke english and spanish so well. I liked the fact there were only about 7 or 8 in our group too. It meant you had no trouble hearing what was being said. The walking tour of Valparaiso was a great way to see the place and if there was anything anyone in the group particularly wanted to look at it wasn't a problem. Lunch was at your own cost but it was a great restaurant that was chosen with wonderful views of Valparaiso. Visiting Vina Del Mar was good also and finishing the tour with a wine tasting in the Casablanca Valley was the perfect end to the day.”
A wonderful trip Reviewed Tour: Patagonia: the Ultimate Adventure

“My favourite destination was El Calafate. I loved the little town. My hotel was upgraded and the excursions to Perito Moreno and Torres Del Paine day trips were excellent.

My favourite hotel was Mirador Del Lago in El Calafate. Very good service at both hotels. The meals in the restaurants were delicious. The facilities and location was also very good and suited my needs

About the excrsion, it is hard to choose between Perito Moreno & Iguasu day trips. Both were excellent. But the organisation in El Calafate was probably the better out of the two.

Guides, They were all pretty good.

Thanks again to Say Hueque!”

Chile - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

A trip to Chile is all about getting close to nature, diversity and adventure. Chile is one of those few countries where you would love to take a wrong turn, for it might lead you to a hidden oasis, something that is unexplored by most travelers. It helps to make plans, but don’t be too stringent or driven by time. The ideal way to explore Chile is to take it slow and let your journey guide you to your destination.

Chile’s unique arrangement of the sea and the mountains ensures that it presents some of the clearest night skies in the world. Add to this the stunning natural beauty and you have the perfect destination to spend long nights in the arms of your loved one, doing nothing but naming stars looking at the night sky. Chile is also home to a number of national parks, including the Torres del Paine, home to a 3700 year old tree. Other attractions include Easter Island and its odd stone statues and the wonders of Moon Valley in the Atacama Desert.

Tour Highlights

  • See the Moai on Easter Island
  • Drive through the Atacama Desert
  • Take in the view of Santiago from San Cristóbal Hill
  • Explore the blue glaciers of Torres del Paine National Park
  • Visit the end of the world in Tierra del Fuego
  • Take a selfie with a Guanaco

Travel Tips

  • There are hot deserts and beaches in Chile, but there are also mountains and glaciers. For a holiday in Chile, pack for all types of weather and try to dress in layers for long days out.
  • Many bank machines in Chile will not accept foreign bank cards. Do your research before the trip to find out which banks will work for you, and be sure to exchange money before you travel.
  • Colourful Chilean sunrises and sunsets are some of the most beautiful in the world. Take some siestas during the day so you get to experience both.
  • When dining in Chile, be prepared to eat slightly later than you are used to. Lunch in typically served around 2pm, while dinner is not eaten until anywhere from 8pm to 10pm. Chileans also have a snack time called 'once' - a light dinner of hot drinks and cakes. Chile is rich in food culture, so know what you must not miss to eat in Chile.
  • Earthquakes are very common in Chile, but there's no need to be alarmed. While you may feel a tremor or two during your visit, the country is built to withstand even large earthquakes.
