“The trails were very well marked and easy to hike on your own. There is a clear itinerary of where you should be each night. Do not bring food, as there is an excellent and ample breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. The showers were also decent and at all the camps on the W trek and had warm water. The sleeping bags and mats were warm enough, although I did go in December, so summer season. Transfers were seamless. We had to wait for the ferry to make a second trip at the end, so a one hour thirty minutes delay, and the buses waited on us to take us back to Puerto Natales. Having everything booked took the stress out of trying to get my own sites and transportation, and meals being provided saved a lot on weight. Overall, no complaints and a great trip!!”

“There are plenty of great views in Patagonia but I think this one is the best. You see Fiztroy from the road coming in, and it is the best 'small' collection of mountains I have seen in the world. The Himalaya and Andes can be draw dropping but stretch for miles, the view of Fitzroy is compact and absolutely stunning. The walk itself is no big deal, just make sure you have water and food. When you get to the top you see the mountain itself it all it's glory. I don't think I have see a mountain like it. We went to Patagonia to hike the Torres del Paine national park and coming to El Chalten was something we fitted in. If we were to go back we would go back to El Chalten first.”

My recent trip to this natural wonderland was an adventure of a lifetime, a journey that left me awe-inspired, humbled, and deeply connected to the natural world. The park offers a multitude of hiking trails, each showcasing a different facet of its diverse ecosystem. From easy strolls to challenging treks, there's something for everyone. We explored trails like the W Trek and French Valley, which led us through ancient forests, past azure lakes, and up to panoramic viewpoints. The chance to spot guanacos, foxes, and condors added a unique dimension to our hikes. Amazing experience, if you have the the opportunity you must do it.”
