Trans Africa - the Cape to Cairo

Cape to Cairo or Cairo to Cape - whichever way you decide to go, this is an extraordinary journey to take and we will show you the many faces of Africa. We travel the length of the Nile from Alexandria, through Egypt and cross the Sahara through the deserts of Sudan. In Khartoum at the confluence of the Blue and White Nile, we head east into the highlands of Ethiopia following the river to its source in Lake Tana and the spectacular Blue Nile Falls.

Heading south along Ethiopia's Great Rift Valley, we enter the deserts of Northern Kenya, and then on along the Rift to the wonderful game filled plains of East Africa. From Kenya, we rejoin the great river at Jinja where the White Nile pours out of Lake Victoria and then visit the Nile's other great waterfall at Murchison Falls National Park.

No visit to Africa is complete without a comprehensive understanding of the wildlife and its place within the ecosystem and on this trip you will visit over 20 different wildlife reserves and national parks.
