Join us on this eight-hour-long, guided tour and see some of the highlights of the Cape Peninsula. We will pick you up from your Cape Town accommodation in the morning. Hop on the minibus and enjoy driving along the scenic coastal route known as the French Riviera, with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.

Travel past Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay and Llundadno and enjoy a photo stop at Maiden's Cove. Upon reaching Hout Bay, you’ll have the option of taking a boat to Seal Island to see the seal population (not included in the tour price). If you do not want to go for this option then you will explore the bay area and its harbor before continuing to Noordhoek Village.

You have the option to stop and try the best coffee roasted on this side of the Cape. Another optional stop is for wine tasting at Cape Point Vineyards for the best Sauvignon Blanc in the region.

The next stop is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point (entrance tickets not included in the tour price), where you'll explore the reserve, see the Dias Beacon and the location where the two currents meet. You can hike up to the top to see the Cape Point Lighthouse or take the optional funicular (additional cost).

Head for Boulders Beach (entrance tickets not included in the tour price) and stop to see its penguin colony, encountering these fascinating creatures at close range. Enjoy travelling through the scenic Boyes Drive and see Kalk Bay as well as Muizenburg. The return route to Cape Town will be via the Old Cape Road, and the day ends with a drop off at your accommodation.

“Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing tour of Cape Town! Joseph, our guide, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. I would recommend someone who can easily get sea sick to avoid the seal island. Overall, we had a great experience.”

“The trip overall was great! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animals, and even the drive through the mountains just getting to the reserve was breathtaking.

The game reserve itself was beautiful. Please do note that it's a private reserve, not a national park like Kruger. We were aware of this beforehand, but many reviews complain about this not being truly "wild" animals. Our travel itinerary didn't allow for the time to fly over to Kruger for a more extensive safari, so Aquila was the next best thing (and relatively close to Cape Town). The animals have generally all been rescued from the wild, and they have substantial area to roam, so the tour still felt more safari-like, not a zoo at all.

Before the game drive, a buffet breakfast was served, and lunch was also provided after the drive as well. The lodge also had rooms for overnight guests, though we only did a day trip.

The game drive lasted for about 3 hours, during which time we saw hippos, rhinos, elephants, springbok, giraffes, lions, hartebeest, and a wildebeest. It really was an incredible experience, and the photos and memories will be with us for a long time!”

“Quite a beautiful city, lots of things to do Marshal, the Travel guide from Kabura was very professional, he took his time to explain & answer questions from my three boys on the tour. We really had a fun time. He has so much knowledge about Cape Town & the General Geography of the world which was so amazing & helped to keep the tour challenging for my 13 & 15 year old boys”
